Rangers sign Enforcer Brashear

The New York Rangers have made their first signing of the day as TSN reports them bringing enforcer Donald Brashear to NY for 2 years at $1.4 million per year. I’m not sure why they made this move instead of keeping Colton Orr for the same amount. Brashear has been hated by Rangers fans (including me) for a while due to his antics on the ice, so this is kind of a head scratcher. Well, Ranger fans will just have to hope that this move makes them more of an intimidating team to play against, and lets hope the combination of him and Avery gives them the much needed grit, which will make them tough to play against.
